Scholarships

The WHIN Food Council can provide financial support to WHIN community members interested in pursuing formal training or certification in urban gardening, farming, nutrition, or anything else to do with growing food or healthy eating!

Applicants to the scholarship must already be accepted to and enrolled in a program. Some institutions that offer courses include Farm School NYC, Soul Fire Farm, Brooklyn Botanical Garden, Plant Powered MetroNY’s Jumpstart program, and many more. If you have any questions about whether the program you’re attending qualifies, please contact whinfoodcouncil@gmail.com with the subject line: “WHIN-FC Scholarship”.
